One of the most distinctive titles from early gaming is Spyro and there has been a fair amount of eagerness to see Spyro Reignited Trilogy, among fans lately. It seems like that fans will have to wait a little more, before they are able to get their hands on it, as the devs and the publishers have announced its delay.
Developer Toys for Bob and the publisher Activision have recently announced the Spyro Reignited Trilogy release date, to be delayed from 21 September to November 21. So that is about two more months of wait. The reason they have stated is that they do not want to disappoint the fans since there is a lot of excitement among them, to see this trilogy after so many years.
Toys for Bob co-studio head Paul Yan said:
Everyone here at Toys for Bob is so proud to be reigniting the original Spyro trilogy after all these years. We’re deeply committed to getting these games right, so we’ve decided to move the release date of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to November 13, 2018.
Yan further giving hope, to the fans that this is just a small delay to make this trilogy perfect said:
I really hoped that you would be rescuing dragons and scorching Rhynocs sooner, but the Trilogy needs more love and care. In November when you’re exploring the Dragon Realms, Avalar, and the Forgotten Worlds, we know you’ll agree the extra time was worth the wait.
Back in April Spyro Reignited Trilogy was announced to roll out in September, then following that we did have a few hunches that there was some discontentment from the devs and turns out the designer of the Spyro the Dragon Charles Zembillas did share his disappointment from this upcoming series as well.
So that adds to the reason, why the devs and publisher have decided to delay this Spyro Reignited Trilogy. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments below.
