Borderlands 3 Game Officially Teased? Our Prayers Might Have Been Answered

There were plenty of people that were looking forward to word on Borderlands 3 at E3 2018 but there was no announcement. This might be it.

Borderlands is a series that we hold near and dear to our hearts and there were plenty of people that were looking forward to word on Borderlands 3 at E3 2018. Unfortunately, we did not even get the slightest of whispers. Borderlands official Twitter account seems to have got people all hyped up about Borderlands 3 again.

The official twitter account posted a picture and a few lines of text which were as follows:

It’s cute that you all think you’re the heroes of this little adventure, but you’re not. Welcome to Pandora, kiddos.

While the post does mention Pandora, the image does not seem to be like Pandora at all and there is speculation that the next game will not take place on Pandora at all. Whether or not this is a teaser for Borderlands 3 is debatable but one thing is for sure, people do want Borderlands 3 to be released and fans want to know when they can expect the game to come out.

Fans have been posting replies with their speculations regarding the matter and they have been asking for an announcement. As of writing this article, the tweet has 1020 retweets, 5590 likes and close to 200 comments. Why do we think that Borderlands 3 will not be based on Pandora? It is because of the message below:

While we have been kept in the dark regarding the development of Borderlands 3,  think that fans are tired of waiting. It has been a very long time since we got anything and the fans deserve a trailer confirming Borderlands 3 before the end of the year. While this is my opinion, what actually is going to happen is anyones guess. It will be interesting to see whether or not there is an actual announcement for the game. According to Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick:

Obviously this year we have RDR2 as a frontline title, next year we have a big title coming from 2K that’s a frontline title.

Other than that, some Steam numbers were leaked recently and they showed some interesting insights. One of those was that Borderlands 2 has almost the same number of players as compared to GTA 5. We will keep you updated regarding the matter so stay tuned to SegmentNext for more information.

Let us know what you think about this post and whether or not you want Borderlands 3 to be announced before the end of the year.
