Nintendo Switch has been here for a while and it’s a huge success since launch. Everyone wants to get their hands on the hybrid console which you can use as a handheld or even connect it to your TV in the dock mode.
Nothing is perfect they say, it looks like the same case with Nintendo Switch as users are reporting that their Nintendo Switch has cracks.
You can use Switch while playing in the handheld mode or play on TV but it seems like the portability here is causing issues especially when you can play games like Fortnite on it for a longer period of time.
The console and the screen are in one place so whenever you want to make it a handheld you just have to connect Joy-Con controllers to play it anywhere but the way you hold it looks like the cause of this problem.
People are reporting cracks mostly at the top where vents and insert game card slots are located. Nintendo Life took notice of the issue and went on Twitter sharing the images of the Switch which might reach to Nintendo so they can look into the issues.
Just noticed my Switch has multiple cracks along the top edge of the console; I don't treat it harshly so I'm not sure where these have come from. Is this a weak point of the design? pic.twitter.com/4E4fdoXwZx

That wasn’t all, as everyone else with the same problems started sharing images of their cracked console so it’s not happening to a single person. If you are one of them don’t worry it’s not just you, it looks like a problem with Nintendo Switch console.
We don’t have any idea how this issue might be occurring but we can assume that it might be the way you hold your console in portable mode. The pressure could be the result of it or maybe these are the weak spots of Nintendo Switch console.
There’s no word from Nintendo yet so we will wait to see if they know the issue is common and maybe offer repair before Switch completely breaks in half.
Are you facing the same issue? If yes, do share it with us in the comments below.
