It’s summertime and if you are thinking of going outside to get that much needed fresh air, or that tanning Sun, then please do not and remain glued to your seat with your wallet in hand because Steam Summer Sale is starting today.
Although Valve has not yet officially confirmed this Steam Summer Sale but based the word by Steam Database, the sale should be starting today. If you would remember, a little while back Steam Database did talk about the sale taking place, on 21st of June. Which was considered as a leak and taken with a grain of salt? Now though, them going again on their Twitter account does raise some eyebrows.
Also considering the 2017 Steam sale, which started on 22nd June, it does make a lot of sense.
Apart from all that, if anything else, it is definitely going to be huge since we have had a lot of amazing releases this year. A lot of expectations are in order, so you can definitely expect some usual and some heavy discounts, all at the lowest possible rates.
Normally gamers do not have an objection to the level of discount but rather, the games on which the discounts take place. At this time we can only speculate, and even then we may not be able to predict the games featured on the summer sale.
If you remember, last years Steam Summer Sale offered discounts on Mafia 3, No Man’s Sky and Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor. Perhaps this year we just might see a sale on Assassin’s Creed Origins? Since its next sequel Assassin’s Creed Odyssey recently got revealed at E3 2018 and the fact it is slated to roll out this October, it only seems logical to see “Origins” on the discounted shelf.
