Bloodborne Map Found In Dark Souls Remastered And Then Opened In GTA 5, What?

It is pretty hard to decide, what is weirder here? The fact that a Bloodborne Map is discovered in Dark Souls Remastered or the fact that it has been opened within GTA 5. Well, certainly you can now drive the car in that Bloodborne Map, which is pretty neat, at least from the looks of it.

Turns out a modder has recently discovered a map of Bloodborne’s Upper Cathedral Ward from Dark Souls Remaster version and has successfully modded it into GTA 5. So apparently we have a level in a game from 2015, sitting inside 2018 remaster of a game, which was originally released back in 2011 and on top of that, we have Trevor from Grand Theft Auto 5 roaming around inside that map.

The modder goes by the name “Dropoff” who took some time to enlighten the various queries of the fans regarding this weird yet interesting mod.

According to “Dropoff”, the level or this Bloodborne Map is its own distinct file, in the data of Dark Souls Remastered, labeled as, “m99_99_98_00.” Furthermore, files that begin with the name “m99” are mostly test files within Dark Souls game, so Dropoff checked for leftover test content on the Dark Souls Remastered and opened it in GTA 5.

The architecture of the extracted map is a little different from the original version of the area in Bloodborne. Still, it is pretty relatable, like for instance, the interior of the building is pretty much the same as the actual one.

Having said that, a video has also been uploaded by the modder and is now available for you guys. Check out Trevor, driving his car in the narrow gullies of the castle.

That said, what are your thoughts regarding this mod? Do you find it weird or interesting? Let us know in the comments below.
