It’s just been 2 months since PUBG mobile was released worldwide. Tencent and PUBG Corp announced yesterday that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on mobile has more than 10 million daily active users trying to get the chicken dinner.
PUBG is one of the biggest games alongside Fortnite who started the genre known as Battle Royale which now everyone’s favorite. PUBG mobile came to mobile devices by hitting the App Store and Google Play Store on March 19 and as of now, the game has racked up over 10 million downloads on Android devices alone.
Keeping in mind active daily user numbers don’t include players in China. PUBG Mobile took it to Twitter by announcing the achievement.
Though it’s just the beginning as the game continues to be a top title on every platform and we recently revealed that PUBG was the top mobile game in over 100 countries.
We even think that mobile version of PUBG is much better in terms of available features compared to the PC version.
In other news, A new update is now available on mobile devices for PUBG Mobile adding the desert map Miramar and more. Apart from the addition of the map, PUBG Mobile now gets regions, multiplayer codes, weekly activity missions, progress rewards and more.
I played the game earlier though I don’t live in Canada and it was better than my expectations.
Here’s my short review of the mobile version of the game:
To describe the game in details, it is running at a lower resolution and textures as compared to PC, but it still handles the 100 player battle Royale really good, graphics don’t seem bad due to the small screen might even look better than the frames dropping on your Xbox version. As the original game, you start with being on a plane and using your parachute to drop down avoiding the blue area to survive till you are the last one to get the Chicken dinner.
