Randy Pitchford Confirms No Borderlands 3 at E3 2018

Borderlands 3 is not going to appear at E3 2018. According to Randy Pitchford, the game will not be present during the event but the team is working hard on it.

Just yesterday, we reported that Borderlands 3is not coming to E3 2018 and today, Gearbox’s Randy Pitchford has confirmed the news, Yes, unfortunately, there is no Borderlands 3 reveal scheduled for E3 2018.

The rumors surrounding Borderlands were triggered into high gear after Walmart’s leaked what is believed to be part of E3 2018 reveal lineup. Among those was Borderlands 3 and since RAGE 2 was confirmed earlier (also a part of the leak), we were hoping to see Borderland 3 appear at E3 as well.

In a series of Tweets, Randy Pitchford discussed human nature and how people will never believe that Borderlands 3 is not coming to E3 2018. He stated that people would still interpret his Tweets the way they want to. While he appreciates the support and love for Borderlands, the next game is not at E3.

Well, there you have it; no Borderlands for us at E3 2018.

Borderlands 3 is currently under development at Gearbox but oddly, an official announcement is still pending. However, everyone knows that the game is happening, even the developers acknowledge that. While the title may not be at E3 2018 but that doesn’t future events such Gamescom may not hold anything related to the game.

In other news, as I mentioned Walmart leaked many games that we are hoping to see at E3 2018. The list included Gears of War 5, Forza Horizon, Splinter Cell, and others.

Now that Borderlands 3 is out of the question, what other games are you expecting to see at E3? Let us know in the comments below.
