New Nintendo Switch Firmware Update Is Available, Brings The System To Version 5.0.1.

Nintendo Switch Firmware Update has rolled out and although it is a minor update, it brings the system to the version 5.0.1. There are some minor changes.

Nintendo has rolled out a Firmware Update for the Switch console recently. So for those who have been expecting an update this here is a confirmation that it’s available. The new Nintendo Switch Firmware Update is apparently a minor update that brings the console’s system to its version 5.0.1.

According to Nintendo, this Nintendo Switch Firmware Update, although is a minor update, it will still improve a lot of stuff in the console. The overall stability of the system will improve significantly but other than that not much has been detailed.

We will hopefully know more, once we have the feedback from the users about this new update. Presumably, this new update will correct any detected error or known issues as well as it will optimize some processes.

The last firmware update that we received for the Switch, was just a few weeks back, which brought in some heft stuff and changes. It brought in social linkages, new avatar icons, and the play activity fix and much more.

Compared to that, this new update apparently changes the system version. It is no shocker that we have been receiving new firmware updates lately for the Switch.

Nintendo has been supporting Switch, with the first-party titles and frequent firmware updates, that have kept the console alive and well.

That said very recently an 8BitDo USB adapter has been made available that, the Switch users can use to play with Xbox One S controller, which is pretty interesting.

That being said, this is pretty much it on the latest Nintendo Switch Firmware Update that has rolled out. As soon as we have more information on this new update we will let you guys know.
