Sea of Thieves has launched for PC and Xbox One and being an Xbox exclusive the game is also available for the Xbox One X, however, the retail version game looks a bit different compared to its E3 2015 gameplay reveal and that is why we are going to do a graphics comparison between the retail and E3 2015 gameplay trailer for Sea Of Thieves.
The retail version of Sea Of Thieves that we will be comparing with E3 2015 gameplay reveal is the Xbox One X version of the game. You can check out the graphics comparison in the video below, courtesy of Cycu1.
As you can see in the video, it is clear that there are differences between the E3 2015 gameplay reveal and the Xbox One X retail version of the game. However, this doesn’t mean the game is downgraded.
If you look closely you will notice that it is not so much of a downgrade as the majority are artistic changes. But, when it comes to vegetation, we can clearly see that it is less dense in the Xbox One X retail version.
There are also lightning differences between the two, however, this might also be an artistic change or could very well be a difference of in-game time of day. Also, there are some scenes where the game has clearly been downgraded. Check out the video to judge it for yourselves.
Sea Of Thieves is game that is designed to be played with friends, however, a game like that requires a stream of content and according to Rare, they have no roadmap planned for the game.
According to the studio, the reason why they don’t have a roadmap for the game is that the changes and content that will be added to the game will be in accordance with the community.
Sea Of Thieves is an action adventure game developed by Rare exclusively for PC and Xbox One.
