Spyro Demo Code Found Within Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy Files

It has been a while since Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy launched for PS4 and with PS4 firmware 4.55 hacked, data miners have found something interesting within Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy Files, which is Spyro Demo Code.

According to data miners, the source code for Crash Bandicoot N.Sane trilogy has hints for Spyro Demo being included in the game. However, the demo itself is not present in Crash Bandicoot files.

To be more specific, the code suggests that Spyro demo is included in Crash Bandicoot N.Sane trilogy files and certain button presses trigger the demo allowing players to play it.

However, the demo is not present in the game and seems like the developers will be adding the demo with an update or have changed their mind and will be rolled out separately.

Speaking of Crash Bandicoot, a report has been making rounds on the internet suggesting that a new Crash Bandicoot game is coming in 2019. This is according to Licensing manager for GB eye, Max Arguile, who revealed it to the “Licensing Source Book Europe” spring issue.

According to Arguile, due to the massive success of Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy on PS4 without any marketing spend, Activision will bring the game to Switch and PC in 2018.

As for Spyro, there have been a few reports and rumors regarding it in past couple of months suggesting that Activision is looking to release a Spyro trilogy remaster exclusively for PlayStation 4.

Furthermore, Activision doesn’t intend to just stop here with the remakes and remasters. Activision, CEO Eric Hirshberg has revealed that the company is surprised with the success of Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy. He added that given the success of the remasters such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remaster, the company intends to remaster more of its older titles for the current generation.
