Geralt Of Riia is one of the most notable protagonists in video games and it seems that this character from the Witcher franchise is set to appear in another game altogether if the Tweet from CD Projekt Red’s head of community is to be believed.
Marcin Momot just posted on Twitter asking a question regarding The Witcher franchise’s protagonist, Geralt of Rivia, appearing in another game altogether later this year.
While he didn’t confirm, it seems that CD Projekt Red might be looking to bring Geralt to another game franchise. However, Geralt could possibly appear in Final Fantasy 15 as Square Enix also did a crossover event for a limited time with Assassin’s Creed franchise.
Another game in which Geralt can appear is Monster Hunter World since Cpacom introduced Horizon Zero Dawn’s protagonist, Aloy, as a playable character in the game.
CD Projekt Red is currently working on Cyberpunk 2077 and according to the studio, Cyberpunk is the new Witcher 3. The studio added that the game is even more ambitious than The Witcher 3.
Along with Cyberpunk 2077, developer CD Projekt Red is also working GWENT: The Witcher Card Game. GWENT has been very popular among the community but, the developers did not anticipate that this mini-game would be so popular among the players.
We wanted to make a fun mini-game that players would enjoy in between saving the world in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. That was the plan when we were creating GWENT. And then it turned out players were actually spending a whole lot of time playing GWENT, much more than we anticipated.
Also, while the studio itself is very quiet about Cyberpunk 2077 but, a leak has made its way on the internet suggesting that the game is already in a playable state.
