Sledgehammer Games has a Call of Duty WW2 Double XP weekend this weekend, focusing not just on regular XP but also weapon XP. Players can rack up the numbers in both regular multiplayer and the game’s zombie mode, meaning that you can get more XP even if competitive isn’t your style.
The event was announced via a Sledgehammer Games Twitter post.
The weekend event will run from tomorrow on Friday to Monday, through there’s no information about specific times. On the upside, players will have the entire weekend to help level up their weapons and multiplayer stats all throughout that time. Depending on how good you are at both multiplayer and zombies, you can go up levels pretty fast.
This is around the fourth Call of Duty WW2 Double XP weekend that the game has announced, with two in November and another one in December. This is the first one of the new year, since the game came out in early November to fairly positive reviews. There will likely be dozens more as 2018 progresses, giving players plenty of time to prestige in the game’s multiplayer.
That’s not even getting into all of the various DLC map packs that every Call of Duty game normally has, which will also likely give us more zombie maps as well. While so far there’s four zombie maps, we might get another one with each of the different map packs.
With all of the different maps that you can get onto in the Call of Duty WW2 Double XP weekend, there’s likely going to be a lot more players on it than what have been for the last few weeks. If you want to take part, remember that the weekend will be available on all platforms, including the Xbox One, the Playstation 4, and the PC.
