While we got a lot of hardware in 2017, there is plenty that is yet to come. One can argue that AMD Vega was not well received and that the mining boom caused a lot of pricing issues. It is also debatable that Nvidia Pascal did not perform as expected but we have Intel 9th Generation CPUs, Intel Z390, Nvidia Volta, AMD Navi and AMD Ryzen 2 to look forward among other PC hardware products in 2018.
While Intel has only offered marginal upgrades year after year, AMD has put pressure on the company and Intel has finally increased the core count on the new Intel Coffee Lake CPUs. We are going to see more of this in 2018 and that is a good thing for gamers and PC enthusiasts all over the world.
