Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is one of the biggest successes of this summer despite being a remaster of the three Crash Bandicoot games, however, the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is a PS4 exclusive and there have been rumors that it might only be a timed exclusive and now it seems the game might drop for Nintendo Switch.
The clue that Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy might come to Nintendo Switch comes from Keymailer, which is a site that helps reviewers to get a hold of review codes. The site has listed Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy for Nintendo Switch.
However, it is important to note that it could be a technical error but, this is not the first time that evidence about the game coming to other platforms has emerged as recently, evidence about the game coming to Xbox One emerged via a portfolio of an artist working on the game.
Also, publisher Activision doesn’t intend to just stop here with the remakes and remasters. Activision, CEO Eric Hirshberg has revealed that the company is surprised with the success of Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy. He added that given the success of the remasters such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remaster, the company intends to remaster more of its older titles for the current generation.
This is a strategy that clearly has our attention, and while there are no new announcements today, I think you can be confident there will be more activity like this in the future with more great IP. The other opportunity beyond remasters is to look at some of our classic IP and ask whether or not it can be reborn on a new platform, like what we’re doing with Skylanders on mobile. Our IP library is an asset that, when done right, can be very powerful.
Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is a compilation of the first three games developed by Vicarious Visions exclusively for PlayStation 4.
