Remedy’s P7 Script Teased By The Studio Creative Director

Remedy's P7 script has been hinted to be written these days by the creative director of the studio, Sam Lake with a picture on Twitter.

For quite some time now we know that Remedy, the studio behind Quantum Break and Alan Wake, is currently working on an unknown project codenamed P7. While there is still not much information about Remedy’s P7, the creative director of the studio didn’t hesitate to take a selfie of him with the game’s script and post it on Twitter.

There’s not much to be said about the picture. As we see it, the script of P7 is already on road and the hashtags Sam Lake used indicate that they might be speeding it up a bit. What we know for sure is that this project is not an Alan Wake title since Remedy announced it on Twitter while replying to a fan, what they said was:

We have been really upfront about whats up with AW2. Hope to make it one day if possible, but for now, it’s Crossfire 2 and P7.

A few months ago while speaking with Gamereactor, he was asked if the studio will continue the transmedia storytelling used in Quantum Break for Remedy’s P7, to which he responded:

We are always trying to push it forward and find new elements as well. I think in some form all of the things that you mentioned will be present in our experiences. But not necessarily in the same way. Finding different focus areas and finding new elements, as well, into the mix is very important. We are working on a new project that we have not really said a lot about… P7 and that’s the codename, we haven’t revealed even the title of the game.

Story and character are just as important as always, but we are looking for ways to maybe give a more long-lasting experience to the player, while keeping the story inside of it very strong. So that calls for new ideas and we are in the process of figuring the details out. But it feels like a very interesting challenge that we are working on.

Aside from Remedy’s P7, Remedy Entertainment is also working on Crossfire 2, a tactical shooter in development at Smilegate and Remedy is co-developing singleplayer for Crossfire 2.

Always looking for a deep story, empathetic characters, and a great soundtrack in video games. Hardcore game hoarder and a strong believer that one day Xbox will win the console war.
