Red Dead Redemption 2 Information Survey Asks For Your Opinion

A Red Dead Redemption 2 information survey has been posted asking how players learned about the game, and whether or not they'd be buying it.

A Red Dead Redemption 2 information survey has been sent out by Rockstar Games lately, and it’s asking for information on how players heard about Red Dead Redemption 2, and whether or not they plan to buy the game.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is the long-anticipated sequel to the 2010 open-world Western game that Rockstar published. The game, which won critical acclaim, has had fans begging for a sequel for the past seven years, and last December it appeared that it would finally get one late this year. However, due to a variety of different factors, the game had to be delayed until early next year.

Since then, and even since the announcement, information on the game has been very scarce, with very little, even a trailer, to keep the hype rolling. With no mention of the game at E3 from Rockstar, the Red Dead Redemption 2 information survey is likely the company’s attempt to keep at least some awareness of the game going.

The survey is fairly standard, for the most part. It asks players where they first heard about the game, if they’re planning on buying it, and other questions like that. This is probably the precursor to a marketing campaign of some kind, though the game is slated to come out sometime in the second quarter of 2018, which puts it somewhere between April and June.

Since Red Dead Redemption 2 is such a popular game it will likely be a big success regardless of how little marketing it gets, though hopefully when 2018 rolls around we’ll still be getting trailers and whatnot, maybe even at the Playstation Experience in December.

Hopefully we’ll be getting some more information on the game soon, and if you want to take the Red Dead Redemption 2 information survey for yourself, just log on to the Google Opinion Rewards app and find it.
