Sony Interactive Entertainment and Naughty Dog are working on The Last of Us 2. The sequel to the highly popular The Last of Us. The game was revealed last year at PlayStation Experience, however, we are yet to see what the game is all about.
There are rumors and then there are even more rumors; so far nothing major has been discussed by the developers. But the community, committed as they are, found out something very interesting. The Last of Us 2 might be taking us to Seatle, Washington.
The location was actually shown during the brief trailer we saw back at PlayStation Experience 2016. Unfortunately, no one picked up on it until now. Redditor known as Voldsby dug deep and came up with some hard evidence that The Last of Us 2 is set in Seatle, at least it is one of the locations we’ll get to visit. The Redditor had a keen eye and noticed a street sign in the trailer, he also noticed pay machines as well, found in Seatle.
Both images are suggesting that The Last of Us will feature Seatle this time around. Still, there needs to be an official confirmation so it is just speculation at this point.
Speaking of speculation, it seems there are a variety of human enemies in the game. Niel Druckmann shared a Tweet that showed a real life Ninja doing Mo-Cap. The image features Jessie Graff who you may recognize from the American Ninja Warrior. It isn’t known what kind of role she would be playing in The Last of Us 2, she may just be used for motion capture but it would be great to see her as a character in the game.
The Last of Us 2 is releasing on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro sometime next year.
