Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered is Having Major Issues on Steam

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered has annoying performance issues such as stuttering of frame rates even on high-end graphic cards.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered was one of the best games in the first person shooter genre. Originally released in 2007, the game sold over 10 million units approx within 1 year of its launch. However, the remastered edition that was released last year bundled up with the Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition didn’t quite land an impact.

After around 8 months, the standalone version is released on Steam for $40. The remaster, unfortunately, received a lot of crude criticism and negative remarks from the majority of users on steam.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered has severe bugs and performance issues that have still not been fixed even though the game was released around 8 months ago. People are angry over the hackers in online play, making the entire experience awful, there are no ban hammers or security measures done by Infinity Ward to counter these hackers. Plus many players reported that the game had lag during multiplayer sessions.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare has annoying performance issues such as stuttering of frame rates even on high-end graphic cards and the preload for shaders is awfully long, the waiting just ruins the mood to score some kills and stats in the game.

The frame rate per second is capped at 90 and it bothers the PC enthusiast as their beefed up cards and monitors are able to deliver higher FPS.

Mouse sensitivity is either 1 or 2 and not precise in between such as picking a 1.4 or 1.5 for precision setting.

Since the online community is small so people mostly just play team death match (TDM). Many of the users were suggesting to go back and play the original game that still offers a decently sized community to play with, tons of mods, and customizable options.

Whereas the situation with the remaster is that there are no dedicated servers, no modifications, or customizations are favored by the call of duty community.

Still, there are a bunch of people keen to play it, therefore, I would suggest them to get the Infinite warfare digital legacy edition which bundles the MW remastered game.

Have you played Modern Warfare Remastered on PC? What problems are you facing?
