Tekken 7 Josie Strategy Guide
Playing as Josie
Another new character in T7, you can consider Josie as Bruce’s replacement. She has decent low pokes and good strings that you can use to whittle away an opponent’s lifebar. She is also capable of feinting in her strings and has a manual backsway. Her CD + 2 and CD + 3 have incredible range and you can use them to pile up your offense or to simply punish whiff attacks.
Josie’s other strengths include possibly the best punishing attacks in the game, good homing moves, and a strong CH game. Her i13 launcher allows her to punish low attacks and whiffs well than anyone else in the game. Even if you do not consider this, she punishes incredibly well on-block and on-whiff.
Coming to her combo potential, she has her d/f + 2 launcher. For a beginner combo, I recommend u/f + 4, 3, 3, Screw!, b + 4, 3, 4. In case you need something a little advanced u/f + 4, f + 1 + 2, 4, f + 2, 3, 4, Screw!, f + 2, 3, 4. For the wall combos, you can either use 1, 2, u/f + 3 + 4 or f + 2, 4 ~ Stance Change, 4.
