While Sony is yet to announce the release date for the upcoming God Of War, but Santa Monica Studio has revealed that the development on God Of War PS4 is going really well.
While replying to fan on Twitter, Santa Monica’s Studio’s Creative Director, Cory Barlog, revealed that the development on the game is looking better every day, which might indicate that we will get to see more of the game during this year’s Sony E3 press conference.
@BlindGalo @rafagrassetti @SonySantaMonica If I had things I could say I would. Things are good and game is looking better every day!— Cory Barlog (@corybarlog) April 19, 2017
God Of War will feature Norse Mythology which consists of Thor, Loki, and Odin, and Cory Barlog has confirmed that God Of War PS4 is a beginning of a new saga, which makes sense, given how the original trilogy ended, spoiler alert, Kratos killed all Greek Gods.
Furthermore, the God Of War games will stick to the Norse mythology for a foreseeable future. Given that Santa Monica expects this game to be a new saga, which indicates that there will be more to come in the not so distant future and we can expect other titles with norse adaptation as well. Maybe this time around it is time for all the Norse Gods to die.
God Of War is an upcoming action-adventure game in development at Sony Santa Monica Studio and will launch exclusively for PlayStation 4.
