It has been quite a while since we have received some news about Crackdown 3, but that is about to change. More information is soon to be expected as the developer has stated that 2017 is going to be great.
When asked if there is a possibility that Crackdown 3 will be showcased on Thursday as part of Project Scorpio reveal, the developer said that they do not know what the other teams are working on but news regarding Crackdown 3 will be coming out soon.
We have no insight in to what other teams are working on, but Crackdown news will start rolling out BIG TIME in the coming months.
Next months could be a refference to E3, which takes place in early June. Microsoft even moved it briefing to Sunday June 11 rather than the normal slot of Monday morning.
Crackdown 3 was expected to launch in 2016, not the complete game just some parts of it like a trial or demo, but microsoft delayed the game to 2017.
This was done due to the companies holiday lineup which was already stuffed with much greater games. Later Microsoft Studio boss Shanon Loftis said that the delay is due to the reason that Crackdown 3 need more work on the campaign.
Honestly, we have waited for Crackdown 3 for so long that we had almost forgotten about it. Studios should give proper updates to the community ever two weeks to remind them that the game they have been anticipating is under development and healthy.
I absolutely hate when Studios make you wait more than a year to even experience a demo for your favorite game, They make us wait so long that some other game takes the spotlight during that time and we end up feeling that all the time we spend waiting was all for nothing.
Crackdown 3 is under development by Reagent Games in guidance of David Jones, a veteran of the series. Let us hope they release some big news soon for it, because we are tired of waiting.
