Despite some technical issues, Nintendo Switch is a success when it comes to sales, especially in the USA.
The console, in fact, is having even more success than Wii and 3DS at launch, becoming one of the most wanted devices in the US. Nintendo of America’s boss, Reggie Fils-Aime has described it as a truly “remarkable” event, claiming that the console breaks new records everyday.
This is what he said during an interview with FOX News:
The reaction has been amazing. People want it, I’ve been with industry peers, they’re excited with what we’re doing and hoping to drive the industry. I’ve seen the games, like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which is right now the fourth highest-rated game in the video games’ history.
We’ve turned the industry on its ear and to do that, to be part of a company that has a reputation for doing it on a regular basis, has been fantastic.
But, what about games?
Well, Reggie Fils-Aime has also discussed this topic in a recent interview.
He has said that E3 is always a big time for Nintendo, and the same will happen this year; the company will be showcasing a variety of interesting games, alongside new experiences for those who will attend the show.
He couldn’t say anything specific about that, but he has assured that Nintendo’s E3 will be great.
Furthermore, the boss of Nintendo of America has revealed that the company’s E3 won’t be only focused on Switch, but there will be space for new Nintendo 3DS games too.
It is indeed good news for those who own a 3DS and were thinking that the company would abandon the console.
Nintendo Switch is now available worldwide alongside The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild.
