Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Is The April Cover of Game Informer, New Information Revealed

Game Informer has revealed today that their April Cover will be dedicated to Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, a standalone DLC announced by Naughty Dog during the PlayStation Experience.

The magazine will give a lot of new information on the upcoming expansion, with interesting interviews and exclusive content to get you ready for the release.

Stepping out of the shadows and into her own adventure is fan-favorite Chloe Frazer. The Lost Legacy delves into Chloe’s backstory and heritage, sending her to the mountains of India, all in the name of the highly valuable Tusk of Ganesh. The treasure could give her the fame and recognition she’s been seeking.

Game Informer folks has had a lot of time to talk with Naughty Dog and, during the interview, a hot topic was discussed: the future of the series.

Evan Wells,  Co-President of Naughty Dog, has stated that it’s very unlikely that the company will release another chapter of the series after the launch of The Lost Legacy. They are already working on The Last of Us Part II and, since they have limited resource, it’s impossible for them to follow different projects at the same time.

Uncharted is one of most successful PlayStation franchise and according to Naughty Dog, it might not have existed without Sony:

Our relationship with Sony was already so intertwined and magical and fantastic that certainty for both parties made a lot of sense. Besides my personal life decision, I think that it was a good decision for Naughty Dog. Look where Naughty Dog is today. As an independent, I don’t think Naughty Dog could have managed to do that alone. I don’t think you’d have these games.
