First Details on God of War PS4 Game; Same Storyline But New Gameplay
Just like we predicted, a new God of War game was officially unveiled at Sony Interactive Entertainment’s E3 2016 press conference, although it was not as polished as you would expect an E3 game reveal to be.
However, things have hyped up pretty nicely ever since and we are sure you are dying to know more about the game.
Worry no more, we have for you the first details on the game, that you might not have been able to pick up from the E3 reveal as well as other details that were not explicitly shared by the developers during the reveal.
Game director Cory Balrog has, however, given us something to go on.
For starters, the developers say that they have continued the storyline of the franchise and followed in the Norse Mythology – something that was also rumored previously. The gameplay, on the other hand has been reimagined completely.
Moving on, another rumor which has been proven untrue is about the main playable characters of the game. It was being speculated that there will be more than one main protagonists in the game, but the developers have confirmed you will play only as Kratos throughout the game.
As far as the setting of the game is concerned, Balrog says that it has been set many years after the events of God of War 3, the comparatively mediocre release.
However, the game will be much more intimate and the players will have much more control on the experience as compared to the previously games.
It looks like they have mashed up features from the previous games with new ideas in the new God of War title because Balrog says that they have matched a totally new gameplay style with the same level of accessibility in the game.
Last but not the least, the game is not going to be open world and Quicktime Events won’t be included like they were in previous games.
We will tell you more about the characters and the release plans of the PlayStation 4 exclusive God of War game when more information is shared, and soon!
