So how big is the game, you might ask. According to the following details that were revealed recently, its pretty freaking huge!
The total number of players that the game has had since launch was a humongous 70 million! That is the all inclusive figure in the past three years during which the game has also had as many as five movie tie-ins namely Avengers, Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Captain America 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy.
Next up, it was revealed that so far 19 PvP tournaments have been held in the past three years with the 20th coming up soon.
In total there have been 1598 different combats just in the past three months.
After this, they revealed the list of most popular items and characters. In terms of male heroes, Deadpool took the lead while in female heroes Psylocke, Angela, and Gamora were the most famous.
The Fantastic Four was the most popular hero team followed by the Netflix family and the Movie Avengers respectively. The last team has Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye, Hulk, Iron Man, and Thor; the second has Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage; the first one has Human Torch, Invisible Woman, Mr. Fantastic, and The Thing.
In terms of hero costumes, fans of Marvel Avengers Alliance favored the Four Horsemen set the most.
Last but not the least Magneto was the least popular character with only six percent of the players having him in their collection.
