Rayman Legends is one of the best games to launch in the last generation and the game is also making its way to Nintendo Switch. Now Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition demo is available for download for the hybrid console in Europe and Australia.
The demo for Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition on Nintendo Switch was pulled earlier because it went up early. The demo is now available to download on Switch’s eShop in Europe and Australia. Those who live in North America will be able to get their hands on the demo tomorrow.
Speaking on Rayman, a prototype demo of an unreleased SNES Rayman game has made its way online thanks to archivist Omar Cornut. According to the uploader, “There’s not a lot to it really, I borrowed the cartridge from Michel Ancel who kindly let me look at it and dump it”. Cornut being an archivist runs a website which is dedicated to archiving games of various platforms.
However, Rayman is not the only title Ubisoft will be bringing to Nintendo Switch as Ubisoft has confirmed that it will be announcing more of its titles for the hybrid console soon.
Also, Ubisoft is quite impressed with the hybrid console saying it is very easy to develop games for Switch. According to Ubisoft, the development team was surprised at how easy it is to develop games for Switch and added that Ubisoft’s Snowdrop Engine, which powers The Division, fits perfectly well with the console.
Actually we were really surprised about how easy the development for this system is. I don’t want to sound like a Ubisoft or Nintendo fan, but when we got the Dev-Kit and put the Snowdrop-Engine onto the Switch, these two perfectly fit together.
Also, Nintendo has been sued by Gamevice who claims Nintendo Switch is using their patents. Gamevice is an accessory manufacturer and the company has filed a lawsuit against Nintendo and claims that the company is using their patents.
