Evil Within was released in 2014 for consoles and PC, receiving generally positive reviews both by the players and the critics. Maybe the game is not a masterpiece, however, the development team – Tango Gameworks – might be working on a sequel (The Evil Within 2), as suggested by a document shared on NeoGAF.
The document is a job listing for ‘Psycho Break 2’ (the Japanese version of The Evil Within 2) and according to it, the development team is looking for translation and quality assurance for the game.
As always, we suggest you to wait for more information, even if the document looks legit.
For those of you who don’t know the game, The Evil Within is a third-person survival horror video game developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game was directed by the creatore of the Resident Evil series, Shinji Mikami.
The Evil Within follows the story of a character named Sebastian Castellanos, in distorted world full of awful creatures and scary locations. This title is made of chapters, in which the player will have to survive using everything he finds around the way; the world will also transform, and powerful enemies will try every way to kill you with no hesitation.
The Evil Within is already available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. The Evil Within 2 might be already in development, and we’ll probably hear more about it at E3 2017.
