New Dark Souls 3 PVP Arena, The “Dragon Ruins”, Shown In New Video

A new Dark Souls 3 PVP arena, the Dragon Ruins, will be available in the Ringed City DLC for Dark Souls 3 when it comes out next week.

As the second and last DLC for Dark Souls 3, The Ringed City, gets closer and closer, From Software has unveiled a new Dark Souls 3 PVP arena. Known as the Dragon Ruins, the arena appears to be in a similar place as the Archdragon Peak area in the Dark Souls 3 main game.

PVP has been an important part of every Dark Souls game, with players being able to invade and attack the worlds of other players to attempt to steal their souls. However, with the Ashes of Ariandel DLC, From implemented dedicated PVP arenas, and the Dragon Ruins are the second Dark Souls 3 PVP arena given to us.

So, if you’re looking to brush up on your combat skills before you make the perilous journey to Londor, you’ll likely be able to enter the Dragon Ruins area through the use of some sort of PVP item. And to make it better, the Dragon Ruins aren’t even the only arena. While it hasn’t been revealed yet, there will also be another new Dark Souls 3 PVP arena in the expansion.

Dark Souls 3’s Ringed City DLC focuses around the player traveling to the city of Londor, the home of the Sable Church and the home of various characters in the game like Yoel of Londor and Yuria, a member of the Sable Church. The main antagonist of Ashes of Ariandel, Sister Friede, is also from Londor, and related to Yuria.

Since this is likely the last thing from Dark Souls in general that we’ll be seeing from From Software, it may very well be the hardest area of the series yet, and there’s no telling what all we’ll be encountering. In the meantime, if you get frustrated at the game’s story, you can always pop into the new Dark Souls 3 PVP arena to test your luck against other players.
