The patch does not change the Watch Dogs 2 ending completely but adds a mysterious conversation to the game’s final cutscene which hints towards the possible Watch Dogs 3. This has got the gamers confused as normally the game’s ending do not get altered after the release.
Before we move ahead, a SPOILER ALERT is in order if you haven’t played the game and don’t want the ending spoiled then stop right here.
The ending remains the same as game’s protagonist Marcus successfully broadcast their message. However, before the player is sent back to the open-world an audio conversation plays between two mysterious figures. Atop of their conversation, there are coordinates that, when searched into Google Maps, points to Brixton area of London.
Since then the gamers are speculating that is it referencing a DLC for Watch Dogs 2 or Watch Dogs 3 set in London. However, the planned DLCs for Watch Dogs 2 are all set in San Francisco. So referencing non-U.S. location have the gamers confused.
