Grand Theft Auto 4 sales have climbed to a huge new height after the game and its DLC were released on the Xbox One’s backwards compatibility service, going up nearly 8000% even though the games only went live yesterday. The games being ported to backwards compatibility means fans can explore Liberty City once again.

The Xbox One’s backwards compatibility service first came out in 2014 after being announced at that year’s E3, and since then it has become a major success for Microsoft.

Lately, the service has been making itself even more useful by releasing much-beloved older games, such as Red Dead Redemption and, now, Grand Theft Auto 4.

The Grand Theft Auto 4 sales include the base Grand Theft Auto 4 game, along with the game’s two DLCs: The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and the Damned, which bring in two other protagonists with their own stories. In the main game, however, players will take the role of Eastern European immigrant Niko Bellic as he tries to make a name for himself in the criminal underworld of Liberty City.

The Grand Theft Auto 4 sales are a mix between physical and digital copies. Amazon’s Movers and Shakers video game page reported a 4536% increase in sales of the game and its two expansions, but even before that the game’s sales had gone up to 7696%.

As one of the best open-world games of the previous console generation (alongside Red Dead Redemption, one of Rockstar’s other smash hits), the fact that the Grand Theft Auto 4 sales have gone up so much is indicative of how much fans have missed the game, and how eager they are to get back into Liberty City.

If you want to play the three different stories of Grand Theft Auto 4, you can get onto the Xbox One Store and the backwards compatibility section to pick the game up for yourself
