Overwatch is a multiplayer shooter with a deep lore and this year we could be seeing some new Overwatch story content in 2017.

The single-player mode is lacking in Overwatch and we might not get one, however, the mystery surrounding the Doomfist character there is demand for more animated shorts based on the game’s characters.
Lead writer on Overwatch, Michael Chu, has confirmed that Blizzard Entertainment is working on new Overwatch story content that hopefully will roll out in near future.
“We’re all excited to continue to explore the world of Overwatch,” he said. “[We] are hard at work creating new story content for the year, which should hopefully start to roll out in the very near future. Stay tuned!
Overwatch is one of the most popular games for Blizzard Entertainment as the game has over 25 million registered users as of January 2017. This is a big achievement looking at the fact that it has not even been a year since Overwatch came out.
