Sniper Elite 4 Will Have DX12 And PS4 Pro Support at Launch
Sniper Elite 4 will come with DX12 and PS4 Pro support. The new title in the series will take advantage of the new tech of the PS4 Pro and will offer faster loading times as well as enhanced graphics. Fans of the franchise should be delighted to hear the news.
According to Rebellion CTO and Co-founder Chris Kingsley:
“We’ve worked really hard to make SNIPER ELITE 4 our biggest and best game ever, and now the power of PlayStation®4 Pro, and DirectX 12 on PC, means we can take things even further for our fans who want the best sniper experience in the world. We’re turning everything up to 12!”
Sniper Elite 4 is a cool new title that will be coming soon and I am looking forward to playing the game when it comes out. According to the official press release:
Covert agent and elite marksman Karl Fairburne must fight alongside the brave men and women of the Italian Resistance to help free their country from the yoke of Fascism, and defeat a terrifying new threat with the potential to halt the Allied fightback in Europe before it’s even begun. If his mission fails, there will be no Operation Overlord, no D-Day landings, and no Victory in Europe.
True next-gen stealth
Running in native 1080p on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Sniper Elite 4 is the first game in the series built without the constraints of older hardware and aims to deliver the definitive World War Two shooter for a generation. From sun-drenched Mediterranean coastal towns to colossal Nazi megastructures, daunting forests and giddying mountain monasteries inspired by Monte Cassino, Sniper Elite 4 will offer breathless emergent stealth action and unrivalled sniping freedom across maps many times the size of those seen in Sniper Elite 3.
Sniper Elite 4 will be coming out on February 4 for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and PS4 Pro. Users will also be able to play the game with DX11.
