It goes without saying that Resident Evil 7 Biohazard boasts multiple endings. Similar to other multi-ending experiences, you either get a bad one or a good one – depending upon your choices, of course.

Moreover, each ending in the game is tied to an Achievement/Trophy. Therefore, if you wish to Platinum the game, you need to complete the game at least a couple of times.

Lastly, as you might have guessed, the entire guide is filled with end-game spoilers so if you want to save your blind playthrough and avoid any spoilers, stop reading this now.

Resident Evil 7 Endings

Still around? Good. Let’s get into it!

Good Ending

At the end of the game, you get your hands on a couple of serum doses to cure the mutated ones. The two doses are meant to be for Zoe Baker and Mia Ethan. However, if you checked out our Boss Battles Guide, you will know that the mutated Jack Baker requires one of the doses in order to go down.

That leaves you with a tough choice: save your wife Mia or save Zoe Baker who is an innocent soul.

In order to get the good ending, you need to save Mia. However, before you get out of Louisiana, Eveline will destroy the boat and abduct the two of you. A little later, you will learn all about your past, Eveline, and the virus.

Eveline tries to take control of Mia one last time, but Mia is able to resist, thanks to the serum. Both of you are eventually saved by the Umbrella Corporation following Eveline’s demise.

Bad Ending

If you give the serum to Zoe Baker, Eveline will kill her as soon as you set out in the boat. A little later, Mia fails to resist Eveline’s control and you are forced to kill Mia.

When the chopper arrives, you are all alone and it was all for nothing, as put by Ethan.
