Since the launch of PlayStation 4 Pro many developers have brought their games to this console but still there are some games that fans are still waiting for to come to the upgraded console. Batman Arkham Knight is one of those games but Rocksteady Studios has confirmed that they have to plans to bring the game to PlayStation 4 Pro.
During a Reddit AMA session, Rocksteady co-founder and creative director, Sefton Hill, confirmed that the studio is not planning a PlayStation 4 Pro patch for Batman Arkham Knight. He added that “I know that’s not what you want to hear but better to be honest”.
Rocksteady Studios has also announced that they have moved on from the Batman Arkham franchise and are working on something new. When asked about their next project Sefton Hill said that they can’t release any details for a while.
We’re very hard at work on our next project but we won’t be releasing the details for a while. When we do you guys will be first to hear as we want to get the community involved heavily in what we do next.
When asked about if he is satisfied with how Batman Arkham Knight turned out to be, Hill replied that he is definitely replied. He added that while not everyone liked the idea of too much Batmobile in the game but the team felt that it was necessary.
I was definitely satisfied. That’s not to say I think it’s perfect as obviously it’s not, but I think we achieved what we set out to do. I appreciate not everyone wanted as much Batmobile for example, but we felt it was important to keep pushing ourselves. I never want us to be in the comfort zone, as that’s the death of creativity.
“I’d much rather we went for what we believe in as I think that’s the way to make something special, that resonates with people. Occasionally you’re going to do things which not everyone loves but that’s much better than boring mediocrity.
