GameStop: Nintendo 64 Is The Most Sought-After Retro Console

In addition to selling current gen consoles, Gamestop also sales older consoles, games and accessories. Recently, GameStop surveyed its consumers asking which legacy console they want the most, and results have come in and Nintendo 64 is the winner.

According to the results of the survey, Nintendo 64 is the most sought after retro console followed by NES and the Super NES. Other consoles that made it to the top 10 list include PlayStation 1, original Xbox, and Sega Saturn.

The top 10 list for most sought after retro consoles is dominated by Nintendo consoles as the top three and bottom two spots are occupied by Nintendo’s consoles.

Nintendo’s upcoming console in Nintendo Switch which will launch in March 2017. However, not much known is about the console. But a rumor is making rounds on the internet that suggest that Nintendo Switch will be less powerful compared to standard PS4.

The report further suggests that Nintendo Switch will be using a Maxwell architecture based graphics card as Nvidia’s Tegra processor is not yet ready for Pascal architecture which is used in the GTX 10 series graphics cards.

There is another report that has made its way to the internet which suggests that the dock for Nintendo Switch will increase the performance of the console.

According to the report, the reason behind the increase in Nintendo Switch performance will be due to another fan that will be activated when the dock is attached that will help cool the system allowing it to achieve a higher clock speed.
