New Rainbow Six Siege Operators, Counterterrorism Units Coming In Year Two
New Rainbow Six Siege operators, all members of four different counterterrorism units from across the world, and a number of new maps, gadgets, and weapons, will be coming to Rainbow Six Siege in the game’s Year Two, its second year of release. You can even get them early with the Year 2 Season Pass.
The various new operators that we’ll be getting in the game come from the Spanish Grupo Especial de Operaciones, the Polish Biuro Operacji Antyterrorystycznych Komendy Głównej Policji, the Hong Kong Special Duties Unit, and the South Korean 707th Special Mission Battalion, which will each have different operators that each have different abilities and equipment.
Rainbow Six: Siege had a very good first year, releasing multiple popular DLCs that added new Rainbow Six Siege operators and new maps, along with new modes, gadgets, and weapons much like what Year Two will bring.
Players will also be able to get access to all of the Year Two stuff free if they own the game’s Complete Edition or the Year 2 Gold Edition. Those players will even be getting special battle gear and boosts to help unlock more content faster.
Currently the Year 2 Gold Edition of the game is available on the Playstation 4, but it will be coming to the Xbox One and PC on December 6, next Tuesday. If you want a better version of the game and are on the Xbox One or PC, you can get the Complete version instead. The Year 2 Gold Version costs $79.99, while the Complete Edition costs $99.99.
In the meantime, players can prepare for the new Rainbow Six Siege operators and everything else coming to Year 2 of the game by making sure that their shooting skills are up to snuff, and maybe even buy the Year 2 Season Pass, which you can pick up for thirty dollars.
