PES 2017 Data Pack 2.0 Coming On November 24, No Pro Support Yet
PES 2017 Data Pack 2.0 is going to be arriving on the Playstation 4 on November 24, but Konami has delayed the game’s Playstation 4 Pro support to mid-December, though they didn’t give a specific reason why. Either way, the data pack will be giving players a number of new goodies for the game.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 is the main competitor to EA Sports’s FIFA series, which put out its 2017 version earlier this year. Both of the games, while getting a positive reception, also competed fiercely for a variety of licenses to have well-known teams in Europe be able to get their jerseys, logos, and other media into the game.
PES 2017 data pack 2.0 will be bringing three new stadiums (Liverpool’s Anfield, Signal Iduna Park from Borussia Dortmund, and Allianz Parque of Palmeiras, the classic kits of the Liverpool football club, the anthems of Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund for you to play whenever your team takes the field, and more than 100 faces and gear from 100 of the FIFA league’s real-life players, giving you a wide variety of new players for you to put on your teams in the game.
Considering how many teams are already available to go into Pro Evolution Soccer 2017, the pack can only add even more content to the game. We’ll likely be seeing a good number of other data packs for the game, especially if Konami decides to continue and spread out its reach to the other football clubs that are seen in the game.
In the meantime, hopefully Playstation 4 Pro support for the game will be coming sometime soon, and that PES 2017 data pack 2.0 will only be the start of the downloadable content that players can download for Pro Evolution Soccer 2017.
Again, the data pack comes out on November 24, though Konami hasn’t made any mention of a price on it yet; either it’ll be free, or players will have to wait and see what the price is when it hits.
