The hype is very real for Gears Of War 4 as the game is less than two weeks away from launch. While the game is releasing for PC and Xbox One, the game will also be playable on next year’s Xbox One Scorpio. However, many are assuming that the game would require a patch to run on Xbox One Scorpio, just like for PlayStation 4 Pro. However, that might not be the case.
We recently got a chance to talk to The Coalition, and discussed some aspects of Gears Of War 4. So we asked Chuck Osieja, Creative Director at The Coalition, whether we will see any performance boost for Gears Of War 4, or whether or not the game will require a performance patch for Xbox One Scorpio.

According to Osieja, Gears Of War 4 might not even require a patch to run smoothly on Xbox One Scorpio, due to the fact, that the game was build to be scale-able for different Xbox platforms and different PCs.
Gears of War 4 was built from the ground up to be a title that can scale with the capabilities of the various platforms in the Xbox family, whether it’s Xbox One, Scorpio, or the best PC’s on the market.
He further explained that they have achieved this with the help of Universal Windows Platform, as once players buy a game, it makes the game work according to the capabilities of that particular system. He also added, that the game has been crafted in such a way that it will look amazing for years to come.

Gears Of War 4 is scheduled to launch on October 11, 2016 exclusive for PC and Xbox One.
