We were aiming at 12-20 hrs playtime (dependent heavily on play-style); playtest says more like 16-20 first time through #Dishonored2.

The game will keep us busy for a while not only with the story but character skill customizations as well. There are different skill trees that would allow us to forge our lead character’s abilities the way we wish to.
According to co-creative director at Arkane Studios:
Dishonored is a game about an assassin where you don’t have to kill anyone and it’s a bit of an oddball – there’s stealth, there’s combat.
The supernatural powers are really key. Corvo’s powers from the first game are back […] the difference is this time we’ve added detailed trees under each of his powers. There are many different ways, generally five, sometimes six, ways to upgrade the power. With Devouring Swarm you can be the guy to summon two swarms or you can have larger swarms or you can have swarms follow you […] and then on top of that you can combine the powers.
Dishonored 2 will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 11.
