Electronic Arts has confirmed that the upcoming FIFA 17 will run at 1080p and 60 frames per second on both Xbox One and Playstation 4.
While speaking with Gamereactor during the game’s Spanish presentation at Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu stadium, the game’s Senior Producer Nick Channon confirmed both the resolution and frames per second at which the upcoming FIFA 17 will run.
As already confirmed during Electronic Arts E3 2016 media briefing, the game is being developed using FrostBite Engine instead of previously used Ignite Engine. And despite the fact that other games developed using FrostBite Engine struggled to run 1080p and 60 frames per second on Xbox One, this time EA Canada is looking determined to keep both the consoles on same resolution and FPS.
In addition to this, FIFA 17 also has a singleplayer campaign mode called The Journey which puts the players in the shoes of Alex Hunter and his story as he moves from being a rookie to a superstar. One of the coolest things about FIFA 17 The Journey is that it is dictated by players’ performance and choices made during the playthrough.
FIFA 17 is scheduled to release on Sept. 27, 2016 in North America and on Sept. 29, 2016 worldwide for Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and PC.
