Activision Removing Comments on Infinite Warfare Trailer, It’s 5th Most Disliked on YouTube
It looks like Activision can’t handle the heat it’s getting after its Call Duty: Infinite Warfare trailer reveal. Around 90% of comments on YouTube are either trolling COD for rehashing the same concept again this year, or outright abusing the company and its product for not being fresh and creative enough.
It looks like the heat is just too much for Activision right now so it has started removing some of the more savage comments from Youtube users. If you visit the comments section you’ll see many users complaining that their comments were removed, of course, Activision has every right to do so but seriously?
One example comes from a very popular YouTuber “ErasableNinja” who said: “You should giveaway Battlefield 1 for 2 million dislikes! :D.” His comment was removed 15 times but he is a persistent Ninja.
Is it finally happening? The community finally standing up against Call of Duty? Only time will tell but all signs do point toward the possibility.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is now YouTube’s 5th most disliked video. At the time of this writing it is closing in on 1.5 million dislikes and is expected to reach two million in the coming days.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is right behind “Gangnum Style,” which has little over 1.5 million dislikes on YouTube. It is safe to say that COD can beat “Gangnum Style,” we are rooting for it – Go COD!
Previously, there were reports that Activision might be paying Pro Players to Tweet positive things about the game. That is indeed a rumor but if they were doing something like it, we can understand.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will release on November 4 for consoles and PC.
