Report: The Last of Us 2 Days Gone Could Be Teased at E3

The Last of Us 2 Days Gone could be teased at E3 2016 and will follow the story of Joel and Ellie. Days Gone trademark was filed by Sony last year.

Uncharted 4 isn’t even released yet and already rumors of The Last of Us 2 are starting to circulate. We already know that Naughty Dog will resume development on The Last of Us 2 after Uncharted 4’s release but a formal confirmation is still not made.

However, we have reports saying that The Last of Us 2 could be teased at E3 2016. It is unlikely in my personal opinion but sources claim that it is expected. What makes this really interesting is that The Last of 2 will use a sub title, Days Gone.

Days Gone trademark was filed by Sony Computer Entertainment on December 28, 2015. It was discovered in early 2016 and we speculated that it could be a new IP from a first party studio.

The Last of Us 2 Days Gone is apparently Naughty Dog’s next project and is expected to be teased at E3 2016. This sequel to PlayStation 3’s critically acclaimed action adventure will once again follow the story of Joel and Ellie.

This is an unconfirmed report so take it with a grain of salt. We are trying to contact Naughty Dog in hopes of a comment on Days Gone.

On a related note, Uncharted 4 copies were stolen in transit according to Sony Computer Entertainment. Sony is working with local Police to apprehend those involved.
