Codemasters is working on a new IP and DriveClub developer Paul Rustchynsky is on board. Paul was a part of Evolution Studios who created Motorstorm, DriveClub and WRC for PlayStation machines while they were under Sony.
Unfortunately, the studio was recently shut down and Codemasters used this opportunity to hire most of the staff including Paul Rustchynsky. The developer is working on a new IP now as revealed by Paul before he started his first day at Codemasters.
Today I start my new job at Codemasters and get to work on a new racing IP! Excited to finally get started 🙂 #MondaysCanBeGood

Codemasters is famous for DiRT and SHiFT games. The studio is a renowned racing games maker and we can expect great things from it thanks to the added experience and expertise of Evolution Team.
We don’t know anything about this new IP but is sure will be a racing game. Details and announcement shouldn’t be expected anytime soon.
Previously, Codemasters said:
The success of F1™ 2015 and DiRT Rally over the last 12 months has re-positioned the company for growth. The addition of the Evolution team to our studio group will allow us to scale our business and strengthen our leadership as the world’s premier racing game developer.
Codemasters is doing well for the time being, the company made a profit first time in five years thanks to the success of F1 2015 and DiRT Rally. It does seem like the right to expand it business. DiRT Rally went to the No. spot in the UK soon after its release and sold well across all platforms.
You may be wondering about DriveClub and its future. Well, the development is handed off to a different studio and it looks like we are about receive DriveClub VR. The game was recently rated by ESRB.
