Hitman DX12 Causes Issues on PC, Here’s a Quick Fix

HItman DX12 support isn't well implemented and causes issues on PC. The game freezes, crashes, but here is a quick fix for the problem.

We all want DX12 to be an option in more games but for now, Hitman players should avoid turning on DX12. Many users are reporting that Hitman freezes and crashes on DX12.

Many users on Steam are mentioning the same kind of issues. Here’s an example:

I have tried everything . Turning off vsync, lowering down detail but nothing seems to work. Always freeze when you try to enter the yacht in the first mission.

I guess we will have to wait for DX 12 patch cause right now the game is broken in DX 12.

Hitman released on PC a few days and early user reviews on Steam aren’t very positive. It is a poor PC port that needs more work. It looks like it is another case of “fix it with post-release updates.”

Even on a GPU as strong as a GTX 970, Hitman is having a hard time holding a decent frame rate. Menus are being criticised for having large buttons and some options are greyed out.

How are you liking the new Hitman on PC? What issues are you facing?
