Splatoon Players Get Octobrush Nouveanu for Free as a New Year Reward

To celebrate 2016, Nintendo has added a new weapon dubbed the Octobrush Nouveanu to Splatoon.

According to Splatoon’s Japanese Twitter account; the brush-like weapon will be available for free to everyone who owns a copy of the game and will be rolled out today at 05:00 AM ET.


What makes Octobrush Nouveanu different from the standard Octobrush is the fact that Octobrush Nouveanu boasts Splat Bomb as a Sub Weapon and Inkzooka as a Special Weapon. You can check out the images attached in the gallery below:

Looks like this is going to be the last update for the game as Nintendo previously stated that it will cease to roll out more updates starting from January 2016.
