Smite PS4 Version Hinted in Datamined Files of the Game

Some dataminers have revealed that there is a reference to a Smite PS4 version in the game's PC version.

News regarding Smite PS4 version has been scarce, however, a lot of people have wanted the game to launch on platforms other than Microsoft’s, especially PlayStation 4.

While we do not have an official confirmation on this yet, some dataminers have apparently found links in the game files that suggest there is going to be a PlayStation 4 version of the game.

Not only that, the datamining has also revealed that Paladins, which are currently in beta, is also going to be released to Sony’s platform.

The datamining website in question claims to have found multiple “strings of files being exported to PS4” in Smite. They did not give a lot of details which is why we are taking this with a grain of salt.

However, if there is a Smite PS4 version, there are high chances we will get to know of it through datamining well before the developers or publishers announce something.

Both Paladins and Smite have been published by Hi-Rez Studios and the former is already confirmed for a PS4 release.

For those who do not know, Smite is a third person action multiplayer online battle arena title from the same guys who announced Paladins back in August. Paladins, with its unique card system, has been in a closed beta phase since November 17.

As far as the Smite PS4 version is concerned, we suggest you treat this news as a speculation for now. We will be updating you as soon as official word comes in.
