New Contra Game Announced By Konami

Konami Digital Entertainment has announced a brand new Contra game. The latest installment in this long running franchise will release in the chinese market.

Moreover, Konami is planning to release this game for Android and iOS only. Considering the style of play, it might be hard for users to play the game using touch screen controls. However, we’ll have to wait and see how developers handle this concern.

Not much is known about the game for now, but we do know that Hideo Kojima won’t be involved with the project. Konami is developing this game in collaboration with Tencent, one of the largest companies in China.

Contra for iOS and Android is going to be a side-scrolling shooter and it will have Microtransactions. Contra is highly popular game and many hoped to see the next installment on consoles and PC. Seeing it being Developed for just iOS and Android is a disappointment.
