Fallout 4 ESRB rating has been shared and as expected, it is not suitable for children in any way. Fallout 4 features plenty of foul language, violence etc.
We can also expect to see drug use and according to ESRB, Fallout 4 is “M” rated and is recommended for 17 or above. It isn’t a surprise as similar rating was given to previous Fallout games. ESRB wrote:
This is an action role-playing game in which players assume the role of a fallout shelter resident emerging from a post-apocalyptic world. As players traverse the open-world environment, they complete various mission objectives and use machine guns, machetes, lasers, and explosives to kill mutants and other human survivors.
Battles are frenetic with realistic gunfire, explosions, and large blood-splatter effects; some attacks result in slow-motion dismemberment and decapitations. A handful of scenes depict chunks of flesh as well as severed heads and dismembered corpses.
Also, the words “f**k,” “sh*t,” and “a**hole” are used extensively.
As for Fallout 4, the “M” rated product will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in November. You can pre-order a copy on PSN, Steam, Xbox Live or third party retailers.
