Xbox One exclusive Forza 6 will take over 44GB space on your HDD, according to a listing on the Xbox Store. This is the biggest file size for a Forza game to date.
Forza 5 came in at 35GB, while last year’s Forza Horizon 2 was 35.84GB. From the looks of it, Forza 6 file size was accidently posted on the store, so it is possible that the file size may get removed in a while. However, we have screengrab for you, if you are unable to find the file size on Store.Xbox.com.
Forza 6 is slated for release on September 15 exclusively on Xbox One. The file size is expected to grow as developers will surely be releasing new updates, DLC etc; so if you have a 500GB Xbox One, it is possible that you may not have enough space by now.
If that is the case, Seagate has a solution for you. The company recently announced an external 2TB HDD for Xbox One and Xbox 360. The drive will cost users $110 and will release later this year.
The drive brings an additional 2TB of storage and the plug-and-play functionality gives you instant power up. It’s small enough to slip into your pocket or backpack and doesn’t need a separate power cord. The Xbox automatically detects your drive and walks you through a hassle-free setup process that will have your drive game-ready in minutes.
