Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake Might Be In Development

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic might get updated for current-gen consoles in the near future.

Released over a decade ago, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is one the best Star Wars game to date. Loved by many, the game might see another outing on newer hardware.

According to a new report, Star Wars: knights of the Old Republic is being remastered. The report in question says that three different sources mentioned the game being updated for current-gen consoles.

Sources were not mentioned and we are yet to hear something from official personnel. However, Phil Spencer supports the idea:

An anniversary edition will surely be something fans would be interested in seeing. The report also says that the game will be announced by the end of the year, with a release date for 2016.

If there is any truth to the report, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic will hit the market in Q3/Q4 2016. It is highly likely that the game will be digital only.

So what do you think? Would you like to play an updated version of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic?
